WORK IT OUT
The Bible has a lot to say about the foolish heart. In some ways we all struggle with foolishness and pride—but if your desire for pleasure or risk taking is high, you likely struggle with this as a predominant heart attitude. No one wants to admit a lack of self-control, foolish words, or a behavioral habit, but choosing to repent and get help are signs you are on the path to redemption.
This worksheet will walk you through specific passages from God’s word to help you identify the idols in your life and point you toward repentance and putting on a heart of wisdom.

Proverbs states its theme right at the book’s beginning (1:1–7): its goal is to describe and instill “wisdom” in God’s people, a wisdom that is founded in the “fear of the LORD” and that works out covenant life in the practical details of everyday situations and relationships.
